Meet the CrewAbout FNG
FNG stands for "Friday Night Gaming" (or "Friday Night Gamers" as it were.)
Founded in 1997, FNG was created to provide a community of gamers with an open invitation to matchmake for some serious gaming. The vision behind FNG is to build a network of friends large enough that every week, an individual can show up with a game in mind that he/she would like to play, and be able to find a group of friends (not random strangers on the net) and play together. Through the years, FNG has seen over 100 gamers come and go, with as many as 12-14 people showing in a given week. The concept started using Kali as a meeting place. When game companies started providing free servers specific to their games, most of the gamers dispersed from Kali and FNG resorted to using AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) and MSN/Windows Live Messenger. As of late, we rely on Live Messenger and Steam. We officially begin at 11:00pm Mountain Time every Friday as to save grace with our significant others/families, though some of the FNGers are known to appear as early as 9:00 or 10:00. We do voice chat through Mumble... contact us to get access to our server while we're playing. If you're in the mood to game with a fun-loving bunch of gamers that love gaming for the sport (especially Racing and RTS) and don't whine every time we lose, then please look for us. We love to add to our community. Current Friday Night Gamers

Favorite Things to Do During FNG:
I founded FNG in 1997 and have been playing with the group ever since. I put up the site so the crew could have fun reminiscing over past game nights as well as catch up on what we miss when some are not able to make it for a particular FNG. I was born an avid gamer, with my umbilical cord terminating at a gamepad. I like: games, games, lan parties, wan parties and... did I mention, games?!

Favorite Games:
Starcraft: Brood War, Rise of Nations, Trackmania United Forever, Trackmania 2: Canyon,
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Dungeon Defenders, TES:V Skyrim, and Left 4 Dead 2.
Favorite Things to Do During FNG:
I started playing games on an Atari ST & Atari 2600, and would play Civilization at my cousin's house any time I'd visit. I'm primarily a PC gamer, though I do own the consoles, as well. ThatOneGuy got me started with FNG several years ago after helping me build my very first gaming PC. I don't get to join in FNG as much as I used to, but if I'm not working Friday nights, I'll usually be there.

Nothing in particular, I just like to play
I have been playing video games ever since the Intellivison. You will
usually see me at FNG when I don't have a major homework assignment due
soon. My last year of school is eating up precious game time. The end is
near! I'm a big fan of adventure and RTS games. If you don't see me at
FNG just know I haven't left the scene. I plan on getting way back into
gaming in May '06 after graduation. FNG rocks!
